     In response to the COVID-19 virus, and out of an abundance of caution, HAC will be holding Virtual Weekly Updates each Monday at 6PM until COVID-19 precautions are lifted. HAC Monthly Community Meetings will return when in person meetings are available. Please feel free to text questions or concerns you may have in the comments section during all virtual meetings.   • HAC Monthly Community meeting is on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:00 PM in the Community Room of the Hilltop Regional Health Center at 1202 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma, WA 98405.
  • New Tacoma Neighborhood Council meets at 5:30 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the TPD Central Substation, 1524 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma WA 98405.
  • Tacoma Central Neighborhood Council meets at 7 PM on the 1st Thursday of every month at Tacoma Nature Center, 1919 South Tyler Street, Tacoma, WA 98405.
  • People's Community Center Steering Committee meets at 5 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Metro Parks People's Community Center, 1602 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Tacoma, WA 98405.
  • Hilltop Library Planning Committee meets at 5 PM on the 4th Thursday of every month in the Community Room of the Hilltop Regional Health Center at 1202 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma, WA 98405.

Tacoma Community House (TCH),Tacoma Housing Authority, and Hilltop Action Coalition are providing a fun, safe way for trick-or-treating this year. Rain or shine, come by and drive through the TCH parking lot where you'll find decorated trunks and booths with treats to share. Please bring a bucket for candy and wear a face mask - costumes are optional. Social distancing precautions will be in place to ensure safety. All trunks and booths will be at least 6 feet apart and attendees will wear a mask. No foot traffic will be accommodated. If you would like to donate candy or register for a parking spot, please email: amayer@tacomacommunityhouse.org.

Hilltop Business Association & HAC are Hosting Halloween on the Hill!


Are you looking for a traditional way to trick-or-treat that doesn't involve riding in a vehicle? The Hilltop Business Association and Hilltop Action Coalition are proud to announce the 1st Annual Trick or Treat Event for the Hilltop!! Bring the kids out Sat, Oct 31st from 3-6pm for Halloween on the Hill 2020! Enjoy Trick or Treating while meeting and greeting great businesses on the Hilltop. **Please wear a face mask and continue to practice social distancing.

Free Covid-19 Testing this Saturday, 

October 24th, from 10am to 3pm! 

Drive Up & Walk Up testing for everyone!


Come out to Evergreen College at 1210 6th Ave, Tacoma, for free covid-19 testing. Everyone is invited! Drive up, or walk up, you can get tested fast and easy. Results are available within a few days. We'll have voter registration information and Hilltop Action Journals available. Social distancing precautions will be maintained.
