Hilltop Action Coalition Monthly Community meetings take place on the third Monday of each month in the Community Room of the Hilltop Regional Health Center at Earnest S Brazill (13th) & MLK, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Each month we have an interesting agenda with reports from HAC staff, Community Liaison Officers (CLO’s) from the Tacoma Police Department, as well as various presentations from other agencies about events and activities that are taking place in the community such as the Health Department, City of Tacoma, Chamber of Commerce and others. Attending the monthly community meeting is the easiest, and most fun way of getting involved with the Hilltop Action Coalition.
See you there!
We are working with the City of Tacoma, Tacoma Housing Authority and many other agencies to ensure that Hilltop redevelopment benefits ALL residents -- current and future. Through participation with the new Hilltop Center for Strong Families, Advocacy and Policy work on the Hilltop Engagement Committee for the Sound Transit Rail Extension, HAC is ensuring that our existing community remains at the center of the Hilltop
Our office is open Tuesday through Friday, from 10am to 2pm.

Hilltop Action Coalition is a community-based coalition working to mobilize and empower diverse individuals, families, businesses and other public and community organizations to build a safe, clean, healthy resilient and united community.
Hilltop Action Coalition was established in 1989 and is currently a non-profit (501c3) coalition of neighbors, neighborhoods and businesses. HAC provides monthly reports to the City of Tacoma and partners with the TacomaFirst 311 Center about community programming, issues, concerns and resident input. HAC focuses on empowering residents with the connections, tools, resources, and friendships that build community and create the vibrant social capital that is the foundation for all strong communities.
Regular workshops and training sessions are conducted to develop better practices around Local Jobs, Development, Housing, Workforce Training, etc., that helps connect businesses, landlords, schools, homeowners, tenants to the Private and Public sector institutions within community. Coalitions of residents, schools, businesses, hospitals, churches, youth services and other related agencies are a necessary strategy to build strong neighborhoods and vibrant communities
Who We Are
In the Spring of 2017 we commissioned Bryson Foster Creative to make a video for us to showcase what we do here at the Hilltop Action Coalition. Among those featured and interviewed in the film are residents from Hilltop, partners at the City of Tacoma, and HAC Board Members (current and past). The video was debuted at our Inaugural Luncheon on May 19th, 2017.
